Southern Region age group competition

The next competition club members may want to enter is the Southern Region age group foil championships on Sunday 26th January in Fareham. For more info see the Southern Fencing website at http://www.southernfencing.org.uk/. Entry forms for the competition are now online at http://www.southernfencing.org.uk/contacts/competition-entry-foil-age-group. The closing date for entries is Saturday 18th January but I suggest you get entries in early to avoid disappointment!

New term starts 9 January

The final session of the Autumn term was Thursday 5 December. The Spring term starts on Thursday Jan 9th. We look forward to seeing you then!

Half term - no fencing 31 October

Next Thursday 31 October is half term week and there will be no fencing. We look forward to seeing you back with us on 7 November.

Southern region team age groups competition on 17th November

Competition coming up: it’s the Southern region team age groups competition, taking place in Fareham. Foil teams can be entered in U-13, U16 and U-18 age groups; it takes place on Sunday 17th November (three weeks today). Fencers born during 2004 or earlier are eligible. Club members should contact James if they want to enter.

New term starts 19 September

The TDFC Autumn term starts on 19th September! Places still available on the beginners course.
Session times for this term are as normal, under 11s starting at 6pm and over 11s/adults from 6.45. (The first session of term, 19 Sep,  is slightly different - under 11s from 6pm but over 11s/adults enrolments starting at 7pm.)

Half Term next week 30 May

Just a reminder that next week, 30 May 2013, is half term and there will be no fencing. We start back again on Thursday 6 June.

Summer Term starts this Thursday 18 April

The Summer term's fencing gets underway this Thursday 18th April!

The Junior Swords (U-11s) group will start as usual at 6pm; enrolments for everyone else are at 7pm.

Easter holidays

Last week's session, 28 March 2013, was the last session of the Spring Term and we're now on our Easter holidays. The first session of the summer term will be on 18th April.
